Cots and sheets are provided for naptime. (please leave blankets at home classrooms are kept at a comfortable temperature)
Each child is required to bring a complete set of clothes from home to put in your child’s cubby.
Personal items and toys are not to be brought from home unless your child’s teacher requests a toy for show-&-tell. We are not responsible for items not labeled. Please no book bags or plastic bags please bring all things in and put them in your child’s cubby.
Sneakers or tennis shoes are recommended for safety; sandals, flip-flops & jellies are discouraged.
Field trips will be included in the pre-school and school-age programs; blanket parental permission must be signed on the application form and the travel and activity authorization form before each child leaves the center. Children under four are not transported. Parents will be notified in advance if their child/children will be leaving the premises, when and where their destinations parents will also be informed.
Extra-Curricular Activities: With parent permission, we allow tutoring, Speech, and other Therapists to visit and work with your child. Brentwood Childcare Center’s Directors will be delighted to discuss any questions or suggestions which you may have. Please keep these guidelines handy for quick reference. Brentwood Child Care is not responsible for any items brought to school, such as toys, jewelry, show & tell things, coats, hats & gloves, shoes, diapers, wipes, book bags, phones, electronic devices, etc.
Girls: To all parents, we ask our female students not to wear beads in their hair if they are under the age of 3. For children 3- and older, if the beads are not secured and fall out, we reserve the right to request you to take them out and not to wear them again. This policy will be enforced due to it being a choking hazard.
