Brentwood Childcare Center's Infant/Toddler Program,
As we continue to prioritize the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of your precious little ones, we would like to bring your attention to some essential guidelines and policies that contribute to the overall quality of care in our infant room.
1. Safe Sleep and Feeding Policies:Please take a moment to review the attached Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep Policy and feeding schedule. Ensure that you have a copy on file with your signature. If your child is under fifteen months, kindly update the feeding schedule form as their eating habits evolve. If your child can roll over, complete the document posted on their cribs.
2. Supplies Needed:Parents are responsible for supplying the following items for their child: diapers, wipes, a change of seasonal clothes, bibs, and bottles. Bottles must be prepared at home and meet specific guidelines for cleanliness, labeling, and content.
3. Bottle Guidelines:
4. Daily Schedule:Parents of children fifteen months and under must provide a written daily schedule for feeding, napping, and other activities.
5. Labeling Bottles and Daily Schedule:All bottles, including those brought from home, must have a cap and be labeled correctly. Infant room staff cannot label or serve bottles that are not appropriately labeled.
6. Extra-Curricular Activities:With parent permission, we allow tutoring, speech therapy, and other therapists to visit and work with your child. Feel free to discuss any questions or suggestions with our Director.
7. Bright Baby Learning Curriculum:Our selected curriculum, offers a comprehensive approach to support your child's learning and development. It provides a balance of standards-based materials, family connection components, and strategies for enriching learning experiences.
8. Personal Items Policy:Brentwood Child Care is not responsible for any items brought to school, such as toys, jewelry, show-and-tell items, coats, hats, gloves, shoes, diapers, wipes, book bags, phones, or electronic devices.
9. Girls' Hair Beads Policy:For the safety of our younger students, we kindly request that girls under the age of 3 do not wear beads in their hair. For those aged 3 and older, if beads are not secured, we reserve the right to ask for their removal due to safety concerns.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines as we strive to provide the best care and support for your child's early years.
Thank you for choosing Brentwood Childcare Center; we look forward to continuing this journey with you and your family.
