Toddlers

  Dear Infant/Toddler Parents;

As a routine, Ms. Elise will go in and check our infant room for sanitation purposes. There are so many guidelines we must follow to meet sanitation inspections and child care state guidelines. Please read the following information below and note that we must work together to follow the policies to continue to provide quality care. Attached you will find a copy of Brentwood Childcare Center’s Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep Policy. If you have not read this document, please do so. We should have a copy on file with each parent’s signature. We have also attached a copy of our feeding schedule. All children under fifteen months must have this form completed and signed by their parents and must be posted in our classrooms. Please update this form as your child’s eating habits change. If you are aware that your child can roll over, please complete the document posted on their cribs.

Parents are required to supply the following for your child; Diapers, wipes, change of clothes (seasonal), bibs, and bottles.

Bottles; must be prepared at home and ready for use. We cannot serve a bottle if the following guidelines are not met.

Bottles must smell and look clean, inside and out, nipples, and cap.

Bottle and cap must be labeled with child’s name (first and last name) and current date.

We can only serve bottles that include the following liquids, formula, milk & water. Please do not add cereal, medication & juice, or any other products. If the contents of the bottles look or smell as though they have any unknown additive, we will refuse to serve it and pour it out. Parents will be phoned to bring additional bottles. Please be advised that this is for your child’s safety and other children that we care for. We are thanking you in advance for helping us follow the sanitation guidelines for our infant room.

If you have any questions, you may stop by the office.

Thanks,

Elise Smalls/Director
